ABOUT THE COURSES

The main focus of all our courses is that people should feel nurtured and empowered, through our guidance in the practices of Dru yoga, meditation, Shiatsu, eating good healthy food, (organic wherever possible) in a very friendly and informal atmosphere. We encourage everyone to get plenty of rest so as to start to release the build up of deep fatigue that we all manage to accumulate.

There are six sessions over the weekend, around which there are plenty of opportunities for walking, talking, fun and sharing. The numbers are always limited to ten maximum, so that we can keep an eye on everyone's needs and experiences.

SUFFOLK / NORFOLK BORDER
The venue for our weekend retreats is Cranhouse a remote lodge in the heart of beautiful forest land, several different types of deer are frequently spotted, along with many other varieties of wildlife. The accommodation is very comfortable and homely with open fires in the colder seasons. All rooms are twin with en suite facilities except one with bathroom right next door. Our yoga and shiatsu sharing sessions are in the large wooden floor living area.

Martin is your cook for the weekend and will happily accommodate special diets and create separate dishes if you have any major dislikes! He will nurture you with delicious and creative cooking. The weekend courses are structured in a way that suits both those who are new to retreats, and also the more experienced yogis, therefore aiming to meet the needs of everyone.

FRANCE
The venues for the longer retreats (six nights): Les Passeroses. This is in the wonderful warm climate of the south of France and the farmhouse is a very special place with an amazing atmosphere, a place which is both uplifting and deeply resting. The owners, Alex and Adrian cook the most imaginative food and look after all our day to day needs, there is plenty of time to explore the beautiful French countryside and villages.

ITALY
Santa Maria Del Sole, Puglia Italy. This property nestles on a hillside with a panoramic view of the Itria Valley, encircled by trees, is a 16th century farmhouse, five Trulleys (typical Apulian dwelling) and a chapel. There is a wooden floored yoga room and a platformed open space in the middle of the wood. There is a very spiritual feeling to the whole place. Food is fresh and locally produced. Both these retreats have three teaching sessions daily, and have swimming pools for leisure time.

The feedback from past courses has been amazing and generally everyone has seen Lifestream Retreats as something deeply resting, replenishing and in many cases life changing!

We look forward to seeing you, on one of our retreats in the near future.
